The pictures on top are what it looks like now. It used to have blue carpet and blue and green walls. It was the little boy's room when we moved in. We painted the walls chestnut brown and cottage white this past summer.

New Room!

Sorry it's been so long since I updated my blog. It has been crazy busy with school and Christmas shopping. So...we are starting to work on the baby's room! We got new carpet yesterday and it looks awesome! Here are the before and after pics. Next week we are hoping to order the crib and dresser. We will find out if it is a boy or girl on January 14th!!

Great News!!

We met with our birth mom, Mandy, this past Thursday and it went great!!! Thank you so much for praying about our meeting with her. She is very sweet and a HUGE blessing to us. We were able to spend a couple of hours visiting with her and her youngest daughter. We felt so blessed to be able to meet her and get to know her. Please pray for her throughout this journey and pray that we will be a blessing in her life. Our baby is due June 10th!!!

fun weekend

We had fun this weekend at the JSU game and we won!! Yay JSU and Yay Alabama!! I love football season...when we're winning at least. Check out the cute pumpkin my class made- rainbow fish!

new blog

So...I am new to this bolgging thing, although I do stalk other people's blogs. I am sure mine will be pretty boring, but I will try to make it fun and interesting. I was talking to my sweet friend, Marissa, today at church and she said she is going to start a blog too. I told her I will probably need a tutor. Cary says I am not good with technology...won't he be impressed.

The other day at school we were talking about cakes and how we all love the funfetti cake. I have been craving a funfetti cake ever since so I bought a mix yesterday at Target. I made it tonight and it is soooo yummy!! It is a Halloween funfetti cake. Unfortunately, after eating a piece I felt a little sick. I think it is the guilt from eating so bad late at night and right here before Halloween. Oh well, hopefully I will work it off tomorrow.
