Baby Bedding

We finally got the ultrasound pictures in the mail on Saturday! It was a great Valentine's Day present. We are sooooo excited to be having a girl and so glad that God chose us to be her parents. I've already been shopping for some cute pink things. It is hard not to buy everything because it is all so cute!

Update

Sorry for not updating sooner. We did not get to go to the appointment last week as planned. There was a problem with Mandy not being covered by medicaid and the attorney recommended that she cancel the appointment, re-apply for medicaid and then reschedule the appointment. We were very sad to not be able to go, but also thankful that things are going well. We are waiting(not very patiently) to hear from the attorney about the appointment. I am DYING to go shopping and to order the cute bedding I found after Christmas. We will keep you posted. Here are a couple of pics from Christmas.

The pictures on top are what it looks like now. It used to have blue carpet and blue and green walls. It was the little boy's room when we moved in. We painted the walls chestnut brown and cottage white this past summer.

New Room!

Sorry it's been so long since I updated my blog. It has been crazy busy with school and Christmas shopping. So...we are starting to work on the baby's room! We got new carpet yesterday and it looks awesome! Here are the before and after pics. Next week we are hoping to order the crib and dresser. We will find out if it is a boy or girl on January 14th!!

Great News!!

We met with our birth mom, Mandy, this past Thursday and it went great!!! Thank you so much for praying about our meeting with her. She is very sweet and a HUGE blessing to us. We were able to spend a couple of hours visiting with her and her youngest daughter. We felt so blessed to be able to meet her and get to know her. Please pray for her throughout this journey and pray that we will be a blessing in her life. Our baby is due June 10th!!!

fun weekend

We had fun this weekend at the JSU game and we won!! Yay JSU and Yay Alabama!! I love football season...when we're winning at least. Check out the cute pumpkin my class made- rainbow fish!
